CCB CARS BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All CCB Car prices quoted are for payment in cash or by credit card. Advanced credit card payment is the required payment method for UK flight arrival transfers and long distance journeys unless cash payment has been agreed. Credit card details can be either telephoned, or emailed to us. Cash is accepted by the drivers at the time of collection for UK airport departures and intercity journeys beginning from Oxford. We reserve the right to charge a £5.00 handling charge for each credit card transaction up to £100.00, thereafter a minimum charge of 5% will apply at our discretion. All prices quoted are estimated and the final price will be stated at the end of each journey unless a fixed price has been agreed and paid for in advance. All price quotes and charges are worked out with Wheatley in Oxfordshire where we are based as the starting and finishing point. All journeys that require or necessitate us to depart or return to our base between 00.00 hours (midnight) and 06:00am and all travel carried out on weekends will be subject to a £10.00 surcharge .Please note our airport transfer prices are per vehicle and not per person and include the first hours waiting time and car parking charge beginning from the scheduled flight arrival time, thereafter waiting time is charged at £30.00 per hour per hour but flight arrival times are constantly monitored by us to keep waiting time to a minimum wherever possible and we normally know if there is a delay on mid and long haul flights providing the flight arrival times have been updated by the arrival airport. However we have to assume that a short haul flight will land at the scheduled arrival time as we cannot normally get an update until after we have our office to collect you. If you know of any delays at your departure airport please feel free to telephone us and give us an instant update. We obviously have to work to a timetable and always endeavour to meet flights at the scheduled landing time so if your flight arrives considerably earlier or later it may interrupt our other transfer schedules enforcing a short delay on pick up. Waiting time for all UK intercity travel normally commences after the first five minutes of the agreed pick up time has expired. Prices quoted for UK arrival transfers are for meeting passengers from the same flight. Prices quoted for UK departures transfers are for dropping off passengers to one airport terminal building, collections from additional incoming flights and or terminals and extra drops to additional terminals will incur extra charges. Additional car parking is charged at cost. The CCB driver will wait for up to 60 minutes after the plane has landed (unless previously advised ), in the arrivals hall by the airport information desk after which time he will page the passengers on the public address system and check with baggage reclaim, customs and immigration and if no contact is made a no show will be assumed and the driver will leave the airport and no refund made. If there are any security alerts in operation we will of course expect to wait longer. Passengers must therefore telephone us if they have not passed through immigration and customs and entered the arrivals hall within one hour of the flight landing. As we carry out a substantial number of transfers each day our pricing structure is based on passengers being ready to leave the airport within ten minutes of clearing customs as the driver will have other work to carry out afterwards. CCB cannot be held responsible for any delays or flight rescheduling caused by the airlines, airport authorities, or any other source. Please allow sufficient time to reach the airport for departure as we cannot be held responsible for any traffic congestion, vehicle breakdowns or delays caused by adverse weather conditions or for any other reason. Adverse weather conditions i.e. Snow / Ice / Gales / Flooding - Please check with us the night before and on the day you are due to travel if there are any adverse weather conditions which might effect the ability to travel safely by car to check if we are operating. Most airlines ask that you arrive at least three hours prior to departure for international flights, two hours for European and 90 minutes for domestic flights - the average journey time between Oxford and Heathrow airport is one hour but we suggest allowing 90 minutes - these times can be relaxed a little if you are travelling with hand luggage only and have booked yourself in online but obviously the more time allowed the better. It is your responsibility to ensure that the luggage you arrive with or are taking will fit into a standard UK saloon car (sedan) or whatever size vehicle you have ordered as you may have to make alternative travel arrangements to or from the airport yourselves if you have too much luggage. CCB always endeavour to arrive on time when collecting clients but cannot be held responsible for any traffic congestion or delays caused by adverse weather conditions or any other reason. No compensation (apart from the transfer cost being refunded if already paid) will be paid if we cannot collect you for any reason, however we will endeavour to make alternative third party travel arrangements as soon as we have been informed of any problems, if you make your own alternative travel arrangements you will be responsible paying such bills that arise. CCB always try to give you the driver and type of vehicle requested but reserve the right to substitute either of these should the need arise for what ever reason. No responsibility will be accepted for restrictions relating to vehicle access at any location. Although we will take every care, no responsibility will be accepted for any loss or damage to luggage or personal property. CCB operate a no smoking policy in all our vehicles. Foreign exchange rates will be quoted on the day of travel. Cancellation policy - CCB reserve the right to charge a minimum £20.00 administration charge for all cancelled bookings and or 50% for cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice for airport transfers and all other journeys and the full price for a no pick up on the day of travel as we will have turned down alternative work to accommodate you. Our minimum charge includes travelling time and mileage to the pick up address. All taxes are included and gratuities are at the client's discretion. CCB reserve the right to use third parties to carry out work on our behalf should the need arise. Airport transfers and all other journeys on Xmas day and New years day are charged at double the normal rate and all bank holidays are subject to a 50%surcharge. This Agreement and this contract are governed by English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
